New Business

Rose Mountain Inventory – Emily Hague, an Antioch masters student, came in to give us a presentation on her work on Rose Mountain. A copy of all her work will be given to us once it is completed in September. Emily showed us where she has been taking her inventory on animals, forest communities, etc. She asked us what we would consider most important and would like to see us co-sponsor a presentation to land owners. We were asked for a small donation to support her work. It is not mandatory but would be greatly appreciated. We voted unanimously to give Emily $250 for her work.

Aquifer Protection Meeting – We have been talking about having a meeting of all boards to start work on Aquifer Protection. We thought that October 18th would work for us. Karen will notify all boards.

Dollars and Sense program on October 4th. Janet set this up with Digit Taylor. She asked if we could get something on the sign by the Fire Dept. for this. Neal said that he thought that the GIVers could do that for us.

Old Business

Signs for Conservation Properties – We decided on the exact wording for the signs. They will be:
Richard C. Fleck Conservation Area, Koch-Brown Conservation Area, Emma Gipson Conservation Area, and the George Proctor Recreation Area. All will have Town of Greenfield on a separate line. Karen will get the wording to Marshall Gale who will rout the signs for cost.

Recycling Committee – The ramp needs to be done but Duffy doesn’t have time to do it. Frank will need to get this done this year so the committee will work to find a way to get this done when Frank gets back from vacation.

Update on Lake Host Program – Neal said that the rest of the money will probably be worked off and the last $70 will be reimbursed by CMRC.
